When i go through my head and brush my scalp with it, its like the brush is giving a relaxing massage without scratching or pulling my hair.I use it in different ways depending on what I need. In the shower, it helps distribute shampoo evenly and creates a soothing, light pressure across my scalp. I also use it with hair oil, and it works the product in far better than applying it by hand. It’s pretty rough and really loud
A scalp massager is a great way to massage the oil into your scalp, but this one is a little rough and extremely loud. How you use this scalp massager is very simple. Just push out the center of the massager out and you have a little reservoir to put your scalp oil into. At the end of this reservoir are four applicator probes that remind me of a ball point pen. The ends of each pin has a spring loaded ball that will disperse your scalp oil of choice directly on the scalp as you move this massager along your head. Applying oil this way really does help those who have really dense hair get that oil directly onto the scalp where its needed. However, with this massager, I had to deduct two stars for a few reasons. First off, the massager is extremely loud. Of course, being right against your head, it amplifies the sound even more. So this, to me, is not very relaxing when you are trying to pamper your scalp with an oil massage. Second, the speed settings. It states it has two speed settings, but honestly, I couldn’t tell the difference between the two. The first speed was fast and hard and the slower speed was just about the same I was expecting something dramatically slower, but it wasn’t. Overall, it just was too loud and to harsh on my scalp with its hard bristles and was not relaxing what so ever. It comes with an internal rechargeable battery along with a USB charging cable. Based on everything I’ve seen, I would probably find a manual type scalp oil massager before I would purchase this again. It was hard to find any value in this battery operated contraption.

Great for Dry Scalp Massage
I decided to use this massager strictly for dry scalp massages because the USB-C charging port is completely exposed. Even though it has a waterproof rating, keeping it away from water just feels like the safer bet for longevity. It is incredibly relaxing to run through my hair while watching television in the evening. The silicone bristles are firm enough to provide a deep massage without being rough on my skin or tangling my hair. It has a really comfortable grip that fits perfectly in my hand, making it easy to hold for a ten minute session. It is lightweight, holds a charge well, and serves as a wonderful tool to wind down before bed.
