I should first tell you that this is the fourth Aerlang massage gun that I have bought. Because I was so impressed with the first one, I purchased two more as gifts for my father and brother. And when I saw this new model with heating and cooling, I couldn’t resist and had to buy it for myself. And it turned out to be a great decision. And I know my review is pretty long, but the Aerlang massage gun is such a high quality product that has stopped my recurring muscle spasms, so I feel the least I can do is share my experience with you and fully describe how great the massage gun is. I also posted a video, if my review is too long for you to read.So, I am a heavier guy, and I used to get muscle spasms quite frequently that, because of my weight, are difficult to reach and massage. Several years ago after I had a very severe muscle spasm in my back, I had to go to physical therapy for treatment. After the therapist used a TheraGun on me, I knew I had to buy a massage gun for myself. However, I wanted to avoid the hefty price tag of a TheraGun, so during my search for a less expensive alternative, I ended up buying quite a few massage guns from department stores and pharmacies. But I ended up returning every one of them because they were nowhere close to having the same quality and power as the TheraGun that I needed for deep muscle penetration.But then I found the Aerlang massage gun, and I am forever grateful that I did. The Aerlang is so much better than all the other ones I bought, and its strength and power felt no different to me than the TheraGun. With most generic massage guns, when you put them on max power and push hard on them, they will stutter on you, and some will even lock up. Even at max power, they simply lack the strength I need for deep muscle massages. On the other hand, the Aerlang has this built-in technology that, when you push on it, it responds by ramping up its power to dive deeper into your muscles. It’s such an amazing feeling to feel the motor ramp up and penetrate deep into your muscles. This built-in feature is a huge benefit when massaging hard-to-reach areas of your body, like your back, where it’s difficult to get proper leverage and force with the massage gun. Check out the video I posted so you can see exactly what I am talking about with this feature.Even when you first hold the Aerlang massage gun in your hands, you know right away that it is a premium-quality product because of how durable and sturdy it feels. Everything about it is absolutely top quality and well-built, such as the massage heads, the screen display, and the case. And with this particular model, the heating and cooling head is such a great benefit and it works perfectly. The head either heats up or cools down very quickly – in a matter of seconds. I first used the heat to warm up my muscles before I started my massage session (which is exactly what the physical therapist did by putting a heating pad on my back). And when I finished massaging, I used the cold head to relax and relieve my sore muscles. You are pretty much treating yourself to hot and cold therapy before and after your massage, which not only feels amazing but is also very beneficial to your muscles.The Aerlang massage gun will also last you for years. The first Aerlang massage gun I bought was in March 2022, and it still works perfectly fine. The only reason I bought this new model was because the heat and cold therapy was too tempting for me to pass up. And I am very happy I bought it. And just like my other Aerlang massage gun, the battery lasts a very long time. I just finished a 20 minute massage session, and the battery is still full.I know there are so many different massage guns to choose from, and it can feel overwhelming. Based on my experience, the Aerlang massage gun is an excellent choice that is premium quality and delivers the same power, strength and performance as top brands without having to pay a high-end price. It really is a great value, and hopefully my review will help guide you in your decision.

Great Build quality, power and battery. Heating/cooling function takes it to another level
I struggle with upper back pain and have gone through several different massage guns over the years with mixed results. I’m very happy with this model and would consider it my favorite out of the various different ones I’ve bought from Amazon. The device comes with a good storage case that easily holds all the attachments and accessories. It has a nice weight with a solid build quality – no visible defects, poor seals, etc.Battery life is great. Charging time seems appropriate for the time you get out of it. You won’t find yourself running out of battery any time soon after charging it up. Haven’t been able to drain the battery fully yet after extended use and gaps between massage sessions.I like the screen (reminds me of the Goldeneye Games!) and find that the 1-5 settings work great for my use. It goes up to 20 (!) if you need a bit more power.Without a doubt the highlight of the device is the ‘Heat and Cold’ attachment. I wasn’t totally sure how it’d work, but one of the attachments you screw into the head of the gun has its own battery (USB-C charging). I’d never had a device that could produce heat/cold like this and I was shocked to toggle it onto the hot function and see it warm up in seconds. The gap between the three heat levels is great, with the highest being HOT but not enough to cause discomfort. Switching it over to the cooling function gets it ICE COLD in moments. Truly baffling stuff. Feels great to alternate between the two as needed.Overall, great value. If you haven’t used a massage gun with a hot/cold function, I would highly recommend this as your one-and-done.
