I purchased the Portzon Set of 2x 4 lbs Neoprene Dumbbells in blue to replace a pair I lent to my niece at the beginning of the pandemic. At this point, I decided to just buy these for me to use so she could keep the others. I primarily use these after my warmup, throwing punches, light swings & flys, to get my shoulders & back ready for strength training. The dumbbells arrived on time & w/out issue. There were no noticeable defects or damage to the neoprene coating. The coating does have a comfortable nonslip texture. The quality seems to be right on par w/the other varies manufactured lightweight neoprene coated dumbbells I own. These would be fine for all sizes of hands. Very nice hand weights. They came individually wrapped in plastic. The neoprene covering is not sticky and I like that. Some of the weights that you get are sticky so I guess I need to wash them but these I did not. I would consider them to be high-quality material. If you need a set of weights, I recommend this company.

I was going to buy these from a box store, but one alone was $9.99. I got the black pair because they were the lower price and I don't need anything colorful. I just wanted a pair of 5 lb weights downstairs. I have a pair that I keep upstairs, but I got tired of carrying them downstairs if I wanted to switch to 5lbs. i know I should make the effort, but sometimes you just don't feel like it. The cover is pretty nice. It's got a slight texture, but should hold up well.
